There's like a rule for repeating decimals, I'm not totally sure how to explain it but basically the denominator of the fraction that represents the repeating decimal will be 9 followed by some zeroes. The way to find the zeroes is the number of digits before the repeating digit. Then, the numerator is the digits before the repeating digit followed by the repeating digit subtracted by the digits before the repeating digit. In this case the answer is 24/90 = 12/45.
