Reasons for why we should use renewable energy:

- It helps the global warming cause. If we decrease our use of fossil fuels and use renewable energy, we lessen our carbon footprint.

Reasons for why we shouldn't use renewable energy:

- It's costly. Renewable energy takes up massive amounts of money to create and construct.

- It's less efficient. Fossil fuels produce much more energy and power than renewable energy sources. Solar panels only convert around like 10% of the sun's energy and produces little energy without being in a solar array.

- It still hurts the environment somewhat. Hydrodams can hurt river life, like salmon, because it blocks access to their route upriver and can also change the temperature of the water to kill water life. Windmills can somewhat harm bird life if they fly into them.
