Explanation:

ABCD is similar to WXYZ

we know both the perimeters so lets assume they are:

ABCD=60

WXYZ=80

From the perimeters we can find the ratio of the two polygons

60/80= 3/4

since BC is similar to XY then

BC/XY = 30/XY = 3/4

cross multiplying will give us XY= 40
