The West? It Involved West Germany, Norway, France, The United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, & Portugal. The United States was also involved, but it mainly Protected its Western allies in the accord to it's Alliance, N.A.T.O.
