Every day you collect 3 pennies and keep them in a jar. So the first day you have 3, the second day you have 6, the third day you have 9, etc. How many do you have on the 13th day?

Answer: 39 Pennies

Step-by-step explanation: You can think about this question as a multiplication problem. When you look at the pattern of the the other days you notice that they are all mulitples of 3. So when you want to find the number of pennies on the 13th day. You can do 3*13 = 39.
