The soviet union had a very high population/workforce and also scored mass production and had a powerful military but that all didn't mean it had a powerful economy as there was higher unequal opportunities seen in its income per head(GDP per capita) as compared to that of the United States of America. The soviet union's per capita when compared to that of the United states from 1913- 2005 grow rather steadily but a lot lower than U.S figures.
