What do you think the purpose of Hammurabi’s Code was? Why was code written that way? What did they serve?

Step-by-step explanation:

1) he was concerned with keeping order in his kingdom. it was somewhat of a Constitution/Bible/Commandments. it contained laws for living in society as well as living as a family, being loyal, faithful and lawful

2)When he started ruling the city/state of Babylon, he only ruled about 50 miles of territory. As he conquered other city/states and his empire grew, he saw the need to unify the various groups he controlled.

3) they served the purpose of a lawful society
