Pretty sure that we only use Kelvin Scale in gas laws as it provides us with the absolute temperature, this is because in gas laws we are also concerned with motion of particles i.e. kinetic energy and we only use kelvin because 0K means 0 kinetic energy (we cannot do the same using other units)
