Explanation:

Using proportion,

If 10 sheets of yellow paper = 6 sheets of red paper

then 50 sheets of yellow paper = ? sheets of red paper


(50 sheets of yellow paper)/(10sheets of yellow paper) * 6 sheets of red paper

= 5 * 6 sheets of red paper

= 30 sheets of red paper

50/10=5 so the ratio is 5 times more

there was 6 sheets of red paper and there is 5 times more so 5 x 6 = 30 red sheets
