Answer:

First solve the first one

2/x -3/x = 1

Multiply through by x

2/x×x -3/x×x = x

You will get

2 - 3 = x

x = - 1

Substitute x into the second Equation

1/x - 2/y = 2

x = 1

1/1 -2/y = 2

-2/y = 2-1

-2/y = 1

y = -2

Therefore x = - 1 and y = - 2
