A=(1)/(2)absinC , where a and b are the given side lengths and C is the included angle. You can ONLY use this when you have the info for SAS in a triangle. For us,

a = 17, b = 15 and C = 35 degrees. Filling in:


A=(1)/(2)(17)(15)sin35

Do that on your calculator in degree mode and you'll find the area to be

73.1 meters squared
