First you draw a box with the dimensions given and then draw the walkway around it. You then as 5 feet to both the 5 and 6 because you are adding 2.5 feet on the left and right side on both sides of your garden. This then leaves you with the dimensions of 10 by 11. Two sides equal 11 and two equal 10. You then find the perimeter. 10+10+11+11 = 42.
