Answer: I would say the answer is D

Explanation: If population growth wanes the number of middle aged and younger people in the workforce drops. This slows down the production of many things leading to a plethera of problems. A good example of this is the current situation in Japan. They have virtually no population growth and an increasing amount of elderly with no care or support systems.
