Sometimes anxiety , depression , and adhd can cause a bad oral hygiene due to sometimes people won't even get out of bed or with their adhd forget to even brush or floss .

Another example can be someone having an anxiety attack because a drill going in a mouth .

A dentist and dental assistant would have to know how to deal with this and be able to make sure that the patient is okay.
