The midpoint is going to be a coordinate point.

The midpoint is the point that's in the middle between the two points.

So to find the midpoint we have to find what we

call our numeric average between our x values.

So we do this by taking the sum of the x values and dividing by 2.

-6 + -4 is -10 and -10 divided by 2 is -5.

Now do the same for the y values.

-2 + -10 is -12 and -12 divided by 2 is -6.

So our midpoint is (-5, -6).
