How did the Cold War begin? What were the factors that led to the rivalry

between the two superpowers? What was the effect in America on regular
citizens?

I need help answering all of them!

The cold war began because Stalin and the West had differing views as to what to do with the capitulated nations, and the nations Germany had in its control.

The factors of the two superpowers (USSR and USA) they both had immense loads of money available, the most powerful militaries, and missiles... Loads of them.

The last question is ambiguous. I'm not so sure what to answer to that...
