Take your pulse for one minute and record it. Then dim the lights, shut off any music, close the door, and close your eyes. Breathe slowly and deeply for five minutes. Concentrate on taking slow, even breaths. After five minutes, take your pulse for one minute and record it. Was there a noticeable decrease in your pulse? If so, what do you think caused the drop?
