Nativists were narrow minded about what it meant to be an American, What is your idea of what makes an American? How should we in the 21st Century define what American is?

We define america as a place were there is freedom. Not the Freedom to do what ever you want but to live free, talk free, to go some where without be told what to do. Some people might define America as a bad place because in a way we are not free. Some people don't feel free because they are Black or Mexican, or Chinness and feel like they are being watched. People lose there lives everyday do to getting killed for no reason and still we call Americ a THE FREEDOM LAND.
