Thisbe? Choose the answer that DOES NOT apply.
He (the writer-Shakespeare) speaks directly to the audience (us).
He draws out the somber (sad) lines to make them funny.
He makes the actors act like fools.
He has the audience (wedding guests) speak to the actors.

Answer:

He draws out the somber (sad) lines to make them funny.

Step-by-step explanation:

Pyramus and thisbe is an old Greek story written by William Shakespeare. The story is about two ill-fated young Babylonian couple whose love later metamorphosisized and their families later hated each other. It was a lamentable comedy. The purpose of story is to be Greek like tragedy but the writer make it look like a comedy, he draw out the somber lines to make it funny. The actors, the script and setting of the story look horrendous and the audience see lit like a comedy.
