The US and their allies (USSR, France, and UK) went against Nazi, Germany and the Axis Powers in WWII to stop their control of Europe. Nazis murdered innocent people, took over European countries, and the Allied Powers had to go against them. Though there were great losses on both sides (1 billion casualties), they had to stop the spread of fascism and the Nazi Party.
