Where does the water in rivers come from? What causes rivers to flow? (Site 1)

Where it comes from can depend on what river but generally from snow melt or rain fall in higher elevations.

Most of the rivers comes precipitation runoff from the surrounding landscape. When rains falls on the land ,it’s either seeps into the ground or becomes runoff
