The period of 1750-1900 was known as the Industrial era. People migrated for different reasons which includes forced labour as a result of slavery, more work opportunities, and setting up of businesses.

The migrants targeted places which had enormous wealth, prestige and world dominance. The migrants quite adjusted well with the working conditions of these places.
