Answer:

6 > 6 - a

3 < 3 + c

Explanation:

Since you are told that there are less than six assignments, a represents what is taken away from the six. the result of 6 - a would be less than 6 itself.

Same concept can be connected with the other example. this time c is what you add to the 3 chores. The value of 3 + c will be greater than 3 itself
