Formula for volume of the sphere is = 4/3πr³
Form and solve the equation for the radius
So: 4/3πr³= 498in³
πr³= 498in³*3/4 which = to 373.5in³
r³= 373.5in³/π
r=∛(373.5in³/π)
calculate r and times the result by 2 for diameter
it will be 9.834...
nearest tenth of an inch means the accuracy is 1 decimal place because nearest tenth= 1/10 or 0.1
So the final answer is 9.8in
