☆Exothermic reaction:

• The reaction in which heat is evolved or released is called Exothermic reaction.
• Example:-
  `C` +
  `O_(2)` ------->
  `CO_2` + heat.

☆Endothermic reaction:

• The reaction in which heat is absorbed is called Endothermic reaction.
• Example:-
  `N_(2)` +
  `O_(2)` + heat ----> 2NO
