It had impacts in the State such as helping to raise the state sales tax by a penny on the dollar This helped to pay for services such as remedial and advanced classes, higher teachers salaries, early-childhood programs and new basic-skills tests.

High school graduation exam wasn’t left out too. This helped in the improvement of the education sector of the state and made it one of the best.
