Total Surface Area of a Cylinder is : 2πr(r + h)

Given that,

  • Height of the Cylinder (r) = 15 inches

  • Diameter of the Base (d) = 12 inches

  • Radius would be : d/2 = 6 inches

Now,


\sf \: 2\pi r(r + h) \\ \\ \longrightarrow \: \sf \: 2 * 6\pi * (15 + 6) \\ \\ \longrightarrow \: \sf \: 12\pi * 21 \\ \\ \longrightarrow \: \sf \: 252\pi

Option (4) is correct
