The slope of the line is y=mx+b. when searching for the slope of a line you take where the line crosses EXACTLY on two points, for this grid it would be (0,3) and (2,2) based off this you see that you Rise 1 and Run 2. rise and run is how you find the formula for slope, since the line is going from the left side of the graph to the right (in a downward motion) the overall direction of the line is negative. now you plug in the answer to the formula given, y=-1/2x+3, the +3 or b in the formula is where the line intersects the y axis. this can be negative or positive. the slope can also be taken from the formula, -1/2for more explanation or questions ask please!
