How was palm oil produced in sub-Saharan Africa used to Europe’s economic advantage? Please, please, PLEASE, don't pull it out of Wikipedia or any webpage, just explain it :c

Answer: European influence over tropical trade made palm oil a cash crop in West Africa. It was sold and traded among the tribes as payments, used to buy weapons and other goods, and was even used to employ soldiers.
