Answer : A bank receives revenue from two sources- interest payments to the bank from those who have received bank loans, and other fees and charges imposed by the bank. Banks have four main categories of expenses- interest payments to depositors; loans that are not repaid; operating costs of employees, office space and equipment; and taxes.

Hope this helps!
