so -2 is the constant(integer without any variable) and 3 is the coefficient(what the variable is being multiplied by) and x is the variable(the unknown term)

we can't solve/simplify this expression since

a) it's an expression, it's impossible to solve since there's no equal sign

b)there are no like terms to simplify this
