When a plant does not get enough water its leaves wilt and stomata are

closed to prevent further loss of water through transpiration. This wilting of leaves and closing of stomata is caused by a growth inhibiting hormone. What is the name of this growth inhibiting hormone that causes wilting of
leaves?

• auxin

• gibberelins

• abscisic acid

I believe it is auxin because that’s what helps the plant grow and works with hormones to stay healthy
