I mean, if you fail online school for the entire year I would assume they would have to make you repeat the year. However, if it was only for a semester or quarter they would most likely put you in some kind of summer school or remediation classes.
You should probably get in contact with the counselor from the school you're going to and ask them this question because it depends... I hope it all goes well.
