Answer:
x=-2

Explanation:

(1)/(4)(x-10)=2x+1

Distribute 1/4

(1)/(4)x-(1)/(4)(10)=2x+1

(1)/(4)x-(5)/(2)=2x+1

add 5/2

(1)/(4)x-(5)/(2)+(5)/(2)=2x+1+(5)/(2)

(1)/(4)x=2x+(1*2+5)/(2)

(1)/(4)x=2x+(2+5)/(2)

(1)/(4)x=2x+(7)/(2)

Subtract 2x

(1)/(4)x-2x=2x-2x+(7)/(2)

(1)/(4)x-2x=(7)/(2)

(1-2*4)/(4)x=(7)/(2)

(1-8)/(4)x=(7)/(2)

-(7)/(4) x=(7)/(2)

Multiply by the negative reciprocal of -7/4 which is basically inverting the fraction -4/7

(-(4)/(7) )-(7)/(4) x=(7)/(2)(-(4)/(7) )

x=-(28)/(14)\\ x=-2
