u see,

the height of the airplane from the ground is 314m

but with the tower's horizontal plane, it would be

=> altitude of aircraft - height of tower

=> 314 - 70 = 244 m

now in the ABC,

using the ratio of sine,

sin 16 = AB/AC

=> 0.275 = 244/AC

=> AC = 244/ 0.275

=> AC = 887.9...

=> AC = approx. 886 meters
