(1)/(3) Bh, where B is the area of the base, and h is the height. The dimensions of the base is given to us: l = 8, and w = 6. The area of the base is simple the length x width, which is 8(6) = 48. We are also given the height: 10 in. So, lets plug this information into the formula:

= (1)/(3) 48(10)


= (1)/(3) 480

So, the volume of one pyramid is 160 cubic inches, so the volume of the two pyramids will be 160(2) = 320 cubic inches.
