\huge{ \boxed{ \tt{Solution:-}}}

Given :

  • Cost of 5 bags of apples =$16.00
  • Cost of 4 bags of apples = $12.72

To Find :

  • Which is better deal ?

Now we solving it :

At the market :

\sf{ \because{Cost \: of \: 5 \: bags \: of \: apples = 16.00}} \\ \\ \sf{ \therefore {Cost \: of \: 1\: bag \: of \: apples = (16.00)/(5) = 3.20}}

Cost of 1 bag of apples = $3.20

\rule {77}{1}

At the orchard :

\sf{ \because{Cost \: of \: 4 \: bags \: of \: apples = 12.72}} \\ \\ \sf{ \therefore {Cost \: of \: 1\: bag \: of \: apples = (12.72)/(4) = 3.}}

∴ Cost of 1 bag of apples = $3.18

\rule {77}{1}

\bf {\therefore{The\:better\:deal\:is\:at\: the\: market.}}

\rule {307}{2}
