Not all Americans supported separation of the colonies from England. Loyalists, or Tories, wanted to remain part of the mother country. How do you think these people saw George Washington and the other Founding Fathers?

They same them as traitors to the American cause for independence because at that time Britain was excessively taxing all its colonies to keep them poor and itself rich
