Since you have molarity and volume, you can find the mols.

The formula for molarity is M=mols/liters
So mols = M*liters

Convert 400 mL to .4 L

.3M * .4L= .12 mols NaNo3

Now convert moles to grams

.12 mols * (84.99 g NaNo3/1 mol)
=10.1988 g of NaNo3
