Compare and contrast your composition to one of the Modern styles such as 12-tone music, whole-tone music, or jazz. You may choose to upload the notation to your composition or a recording of your improvisation to your post. Use the correct music terms when you are discussing the comparisons. My composition style tends to lean more towards the jazz style. I find myself using the classic 2-5-1 progressions instictively. I also catch myself playing melodies off beat as well as swinging notes.
