200.96 cm

Explanation:

Area of a circle:
A=
\pi r^2

Since we don't have the radius, we have to find it.

What you gave me is the diameter which is 16 (cm) I suppose.

Radius is half the diameter. Therefore we can divide the diameter by 2 to find the radius.

16 ÷
2=8

This is our radius.

Plug this into the area formula.

A=\pi r^2

A=(3.14)(8)^2

A=200.96cm
