SA=B+(1)/(2)l(numberofbasesides)(b)

B will be the area of the base, which is the triangle. After we figure out the value of B we can plug everything we know into the equation.

The formula for the area of a triangle is:


A=(1)/(2)bh


A=.5*2*1.7

A = 1.7

Now that we have the value of B, we can plug it into the formula along with the other things from the picture we know.


SA=1.7+.5*2*3*2


SA=
