Taking perspective into play is one of the main concepts when it comes to empathy.
To have empathy is being able to understand the feelings of others put in certain situations.
When you put things into perspective, or as some would say: 'putting your feet in someone else's shoes', you can further understand how or why somebody feels a certain way.
Additionally, having empathy can better communication between you and the one's you love!
