A bead has a mass of 15 g. You place it in a graduated cylinder that

has 20 mL of water. After placing the bead in, the water level is now
30 ml. What is the density of the bead?

I found: ρ=1.5gcm3

Step-by-step explanation:

Density ρ is equal to mass/volume

so in our case the mass is 15g while the volume should be: 30−20=10ml=10cm3

The density of the material of the bead should then be:

ρ=1510=1.5gcm3
