-4
first you add 12x to both sides so it cancels out on the left
divide the whole equation by -3 to get y by itself and put the equation in y=mx+b form
y=-4x -7
-4 is the slope

Answer:

-4

Explanation:

-12x-3y=21

We need to solve the equation for y to get it in slope intercept form

Add 12x to each side

-12x+12x-3y=12x+21

-3y = 12x+21

Divide each side by -3

-3y/-3 = 12x/-3 +21/-3

y = -4x -7

This is in slope intercept form (y = mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept)

-4 is the slope and -7 is the y intercept
