Distance, Velocity and Time

Formula:
d=vt

  • d = distance
  • v = velocity
  • t = time

Solving the Question

We're given:

  • v = 2.0 m/s
  • d = 4.0 m
  • Solve for t

d=vt\\\\t=(d)/(v)

⇒ Plug in the given values:

t=(4.0)/(2.0)\\\\t=2.0

Answer

Therefore, it took 2.0 seconds for the ball to reach the second player.
