=27\text{ minutes}=(27)/(60)\text{ hour}=(9)/(20)\text{hour}

Now,


\text{Distance}=\text{speed}*\text{time}

distance traveled on bike
=(5x-3)*(15)/(60)=((5x-3))/(4)

distance traveled by walking
=x*(12)/(60)=(x)/(5)
