plants receive food by the sun and water,plants don't really have shelter they have an environment,space doesn't really matter to a plant. For an animal they receive food by hunting,looking for grubs,or digging up plants.they can find water by streams,rivers or lakes.shelter depends on what animal it is, for example, digging a hole,finding a cave,or even building a dam out of wood.space depends on where the environment is.
