A netball court is 30m by 15m.What is the distance from one corner of the court to the other​

Answer:

It would be 33.54m from one corner to the other.

A2+B2=C2

fill out A as 30

fill out B as 15

If we square these we get 900 and 225

Those added together gives you 1125

So now square root 1125. That gives you 33.54m, your answer.

Use Pythagorean theorem.

(diagonal)² = (length)² + (width)²

= 30² + 15²

= 900 + 225

= 1125

diagonal = √1125

= 33.54 m
