How do you think native Southerners were impacted by the Civil War and its end?

Answer:Slavery was integral to the South's economy and culture. When the South lost the war, the Confederate States of America dissolved and Southern states lost their power. The end of slavery resulted in a tremendous loss of crop production on many Southern plantations and, ultimately, an unsustainable economy in the South. Hope it helped :)
